WHAT IS P.C.E.R (PΑ.Κ.O.E)

7 June 1979: A group of scientists was worried about the problems that have been caused by the rapid and unsystematic development of the country. So this team decided to establish the first uncommitted, dynamic social organization, under the name P.C.E.R. (PA.K.Ο.ΕPANHELLENIC CENTER OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH).

After 36 years this organization deemed worthy from its efforts for a better quality of life, has created the prerequisites for the political leaders to change their way of thinking and the way they handle the ecological problems.

P.C.E.R. (PA.Κ.Ο.Ε), for 36 years, is the only organization that generates its own primary data that can be juxtaposed with the corresponding disguised data of each governmental machine.

P.C.E.R. (PA.Κ.Ο.Ε) is the organization that followed through and inflictedthe observation of the word «development» from another point of view, called «environmental effect».

P.C.E.R. (PA.Κ.Ο.Ε)is the organization that managed to break the vested interest and  give a new meaning to the term «quality of life».

Of course there is a long road aheadfor the achievement of the aims that have been set from its constitution and through its 32-year trail. Of course, people change, but the capitulary of P.C.E.R. (PA.Κ.Ο.Ε) with its stable and unshakeable political view, remained and will remain a beacon of hope for the thousands of its supporters.
